Discounts are a simple way to run a sale, promote specific products or reward bigger orders. You can offer a flat dollar amount off or a percentage off, with rules around what it applies to and when.
Ask Milo
Tell Milo what you want to run. Some examples:
"Create a 20% off discount on all candles for the next 2 weeks"
"Offer $10 off orders over $40"
"Run a site-wide 15% off sale this weekend"
"Give 10% off when someone buys 3 or more bracelets"
"Run a buy 2 candles get 1 free deal"
Milo will confirm the details before saving. Or open Products > Discounts in the left sidebar.
What you can set
Type: a flat dollar amount or a percentage off
What it applies to: one product, a collection or your whole store
When it runs: an optional start and end date (leave them off to run open-ended)
Minimum purchase: a minimum order total or a minimum item count before the discount kicks in
Buy X get Y: a buy-2-get-1 style deal, where the free or discounted item is added automatically
Automatic or code-based
Every discount can either apply automatically at checkout or require a code the customer types in.
Automatic: good for site-wide sales or category promotions. Customers see the discount applied as soon as a qualifying item is in their cart.
Code-based: good for targeted promotions you share in a specific place, like an email list, a collab partner or a social post.
Ending a discount
Discounts with an end date turn off automatically. For open-ended ones, just ask Milo to end it when you are done. Or manage them from Products > Discounts.
