Working with Sloane on your storefront

How Sloane helps you set up and polish your store and looks after the money side.

Sloane is your storefront teammate. Think of Sloane as the person who would set up and run the front of your store. She also looks after the money side: payments, payouts, sales tax and your sales figures.

What Sloane can do

  • Add, edit and organize products

  • Group products into collections

  • Draft product titles, descriptions and tags

  • Suggest colors, fonts and layout tweaks for your theme

  • Update your logo, banner, menus and store policies

  • Handle your custom domain setup

  • Generate storefront banners from your brand

  • Point out listings that look thin, like a missing image

  • Set your Minicart domain and take your store live

  • Set up payments so customers can check out

  • Pay out your balance and add the bank account it goes to

  • Answer questions about sales tax and your sales figures

Ask Sloane

Open your Sloane conversation and describe what you want. Examples:

  • "Add a new product called Amber Candle for $18 with 2 variants, small and large"

  • "Make my storefront feel warmer and less corporate"

  • "Change my banner image to this" (and upload an image using the '+' icon)

  • "When is my next payout?"

Sloane will reply with drafts you can accept or ask her to refine.

The money side

Sloane sets up payments, keeps an eye on your payouts and answers questions about sales tax. See Set up payments for your store, How payouts work and How sales tax works.

Your approval

Nothing Sloane drafts is saved until you approve it. You will see the change, edit it if you want and then say yes.
