Before you can take orders, you need to set up payments. Payment processing on Minicart is handled by Stripe, our payments partner. You will complete a short onboarding to get approved.
US only for now. Payments on Minicart are currently available to stores based in the United States. We are working on expanding to more countries soon.

What you will need
Payment onboarding asks for the details needed to pay you out and to meet financial regulations:
Your legal name
Company information if you are not a sole proprietor
Your address
A phone number
A bank account for payouts
A tax ID
Identity verification (a photo ID in most cases)
Start selling right away
You can open your store and start taking orders as soon as you finish onboarding. Most stores are fully approved within 48 hours. During that review window, your payouts are held so we can verify your details, but your customers can still buy from you without interruption. Once you are approved, any funds collected start flowing to your bank on your normal payout schedule.

Once payments are set up, Penny watches your payments and payouts. She flags anything unusual, like a failed payout or a dispute opened by a customer.
