If a store is not working out or you created one by accident, you can remove it. Sloane can take care of it for you.
Ask Sloane
Tell Sloane you want to delete your store. Open Sloane, start a new chat with New and type "Delete my store". Sloane walks you through it and confirms with you before anything is removed. If she asks you to type something to confirm, that is your subdomain (the yourstore part of your Minicart domain), not your store's display name.
Make sure it is the right store
If you run more than one store, double-check you are in the correct one before deleting. Switch stores using the colored button at the top left corner, under the Minicart logo. That is your store switcher. It lists every store you have.
Before it can be deleted
A store has to be settled up first. If one of these applies, Minicart tells you which one when you try:
A paid plan is still active. Switch to the free plan under Settings > Subscriptions in the left sidebar, then delete once the cancellation is scheduled.
You connected a custom domain. Remove it under Settings > Domains first.
You registered a domain through Minicart. The registration runs until it expires, so the store stays put until then.
Money is sitting in your payout balance. Pay it out first. If your payout reserve is covering it, the reserve shrinks as recent sales age out, so try again in a few days.
Payments are still settling. Wait for them to land, pay them out, then delete.
Only the store owner can delete a store. Other users cannot.
What happens to your orders
Your past orders stay on file for a period afterwards to meet legal record-keeping requirements. Any payouts you already earned still settle to your bank. Deleting a store only takes the storefront offline. It does not claw back money from completed sales.
