Import products from Etsy, Shopify or eBay

Bring your existing products into Minicart.

If you already sell on Etsy, Shopify or eBay, you can pull your public catalog into Minicart instead of re-entering everything by hand.

Import will bring over as much as it reasonably can, but no import is perfect. Expect to spend a little time reviewing and polishing your catalog after. Sloane can point out listings that look thin so you know where to focus.

Start an import

The easiest way to start is to tell Sloane. Open your Sloane conversation and say something like "I'd like to import my Etsy store" and paste the URL of your shop. Sloane will take it from there.

For eBay, paste your seller URL. Both forms work, whether that is ebay.com/usr/yourusername for a seller profile or ebay.com/str/yourstorename for an eBay Store. A shortened ebay.us or ebay.io link is fine too.

What gets imported

  • Your storefront name, logo and banner where available

  • Product titles and descriptions

  • Product images

  • Prices

  • Variants where available

  • Digital download listings, detected and set up as digital products

  • Product reviews and ratings where available

What does not come across

  • Customer lists and contact info

  • Past order history

  • Private inventory counts

  • Custom pages like About Us or FAQ

  • Shipping rates and tax settings

  • Discount codes and promotions

Anything we cannot see publicly stays behind on your old store. You can rebuild these pieces in Minicart when you are ready.

Review before going live

Imported products come in as public, but since your store is not live yet, only you can see them. This gives you a chance to preview everything, make edits and confirm things look right before your first customer visits.

Ask Sloane to look over your imported products and she can point out ones that look incomplete, such as missing images or thin descriptions. Review each one, make edits and then take your store live when you are happy. See Pick your Minicart domain and go live.

If something is missing

If a product did not come across, ask Sloane to add it. You can also ask her to run the import again to fill in what was skipped, without creating duplicates. If your shop cannot be found, check that you pasted the full public shop URL. Still stuck? Reach out through Contact support in the left sidebar. See Add your first product.
