Add your first product

Create a product with images, variants and pricing.

Every store starts with a product. The easiest way to add one is to ask Sloane.

Ask Sloane

Tell Sloane something like "Add a new product called Lavender Soap for $8". You can attach a photo of your product in the conversation. Based on the image and a short nudge from you, Sloane will draft a title, a description that reads naturally and even generate lifestyle photos showing your product in use. She will show you a full draft before saving so you can tweak anything.

Really, every product just needs an image and a price. Sloane handles the rest.

What a product has

  • Title: what customers will see

  • Description: what it is, who it is for, why they should want it

  • Images: at least one clear image, more is better

  • Price: in your store currency

Variants and SKUs

If your product comes in sizes, colors or other options, add variants. Each variant can have its own price, SKU and stock level. Keep SKUs short and consistent so they are easy to track later.

Public or hidden

Each product has a Public toggle. When it is on, the product is live on your storefront. Turn it off to keep it hidden while you are still working on it, and turn it on when you are ready to sell.

Bulk edits

You can ask Sloane to change many products at once. Try something like "increase the price of all red necklaces by $5". Sloane will show you exactly which products and variants are about to change and wait for your confirmation before applying.
