Edit or delete a product

Update product details or remove items from your store.

You can edit any product at any time. Changes apply immediately once you save.

Edit a product

Just tell Sloane what you want changed. "Lower the price on the Amber Candle to $15" or "Add a new photo to the Lavender Soap listing" both work. Sloane will show you the change before saving.

You can also edit using Sloane's quick actions (click Sloane's avatar at the top of the portal, then choose Products), click the product you want and update any field directly.

Bulk edits

Editing a bunch of products at once is a conversation too. Try "increase the price of all red necklaces by $5" and Sloane will show you exactly which products and variants are about to change before applying anything.

Hide without deleting

If you want to temporarily take a product off your store, turn off its Public toggle. The product stays in your portal and past orders remain intact, but customers cannot see or order it. Turn the toggle back on whenever you are ready.

Delete a product

Ask Sloane to delete the product or open it and click the trash icon. Deletion is permanent and removes the product along with its variants, images and inventory data.

What happens to past orders

Past orders that reference a deleted product keep their original line items so your order history stays accurate. Customers will not see a broken link if they revisit a receipt.

When to hide vs delete

Turn off the Public toggle when the item might come back. Delete only when you are sure you will never sell it again.
